This is a documentary project I created with co-creator Claus Bauer. We traveled to Cambodia to film our journey of driving a tuktuk across the country with the end goal being to donate it to a deserving family in Phnom Penh. They will use the tuktuk as a taxi service to earn more money and help pull themselves out of poverty.

This Documentary is the story of two friends, a Filipino trike, and a family in a small fishing village along the coast of the Philippines. A trike, or tricycle, is one of the tiniest and most unique vehicles in the world. We headed to Manila and bought one. This is the story of how we got there, why, and the adventure we take it on across the Philippines with the end goal being to donate it to an impoverished family. Along the way it grew into something bigger and more important than we had expected, the opportunity to help change a young girl’s life. She has a hole in her heart and requires life-saving surgery. We’ve decided that we’re going to help her with the aid of donors from around the world. Our goal is to tell a story while mixing travel with cinematography, philanthropy, adventure, and humour. This project was created by Shaun Finn and Claus Bauer.

This video was created out of passion for an annual hockey trip to the interior of BC, Canada. It started as a group of 4 and gradually grew to a 16 person group of friends all with a love for hockey, the outdoors, and the occasional cold beer.

A short video and audio montage of some of the sights and sounds from my time in Tanzania.

On Christmas morning 2019 I awoke to strong gusts of wind that gradually grew and grew into a full blown typhoon that tragically killed several people and caused a lot of heavy damage. Typhoon Ursula (Phanfone) Boracay 2019.

Gabriel Salva is a badass, he's an inspiration, an adventurer, and he's blind. Over the last 10 years Gabriel has been losing his sight due to a genetic and degenerative disease called retinitis pugmentosa. He's now got about 5% vision remaining and is traveling the world in order to see and experience as much as he can before his vision is lost completely. When we met him he told us how he used to ride motorbikes all his life and he missed it greatly. We figured that in the right location, with the right amount of light, we could help him drive one more time.

San Isidro in the Philippines was just the right place. You can follow Gabriel on Instagram here - @gasalbo

I was the D.O.P, did the lighting, shot, captured sound, and edited this project. This video is from a short comedy series written and directed by my mother Barbara Whiting. To see more of her work visit Her YouTube Channel
